On the occasion of the International year of Biodiversity, the Biodiversity Research Institute of the University of Barcelona (IrBio), the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (IBE, CSIC-UPF) and the Zoological Systematics and Evolution research group co-organize a two-day symposium under the title:
“FRONTIERS IN BIODIVERSITY: A PHYLOGENETIC PERSPECTIVE”
ZOOSYSEVO members have co-authored most chapters of a recent electrobic publicaiton entitled "La teoria de l’evolució, 150 anys després [The theory of Evolution, 150 years afterwards]". This electronic book is part of a set of eductaional tools developed by the Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona and the Institut d’Educació de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona (IMEB) to support teaching of evolutionary theory to High School students
