Darko Cotoras, originally from Santiago de Chile, is a Humboldt postdoctoral fellow from the Senckenberg Museum and research associate at the California Academy of Sciences. He is visiting the Arnedo lab to generate Scanning Electron Microscopy and optical stacking images for a taxonomic revision of the genus Selkirkiella (Theridiidae). Jagoba Malumbres Olarte is a former visitor of the Arnedo Lab who has been collaborating with the group for a long time. He is an ecologist working mainly on spiders, and his research focuses on understanding the eco-evolutionary processes behind community assembly, as well as on performing, analysing and redefining spider inventories. Apart from that, he is also a scientific illustrator, and he is currently the co-director of our PhD student Marc Domènech. #arachnology #science #spider #ecology #ibercoding #biodiversity
